Maj Mike Hargreaves was an Air Cadet at 754 Phoenix Sqn in Port Moody, BC, and was selected for both the Glider and Power Pilot Training Courses After Cadets, he enrolled in the RCAF and served for over 36 years as a Sea King pilot. After retiring in 2016, he worked at the Regional Cadet Support Unit (Atlantic) for six years as the Officer Commanding Air Operations and Commanding Officer of the Debert Cadet Flying Training Centre in the summer. In these roles, he oversaw the Air Cadet Flying Program throughout the Atlantic Region. He retired in 2022 and now works as a tow pilot on both the L-19 and Scout tow planes and is the Commanding Officer of 250 Vimy Sqn.
